Greetings everyone! A lot of you may not be aware of who I am, since this is essentially my first blog post ever. Yar!
This blog post will be focused solely on Pirate101, so let’s dive right into action, shall we?
Alrighty! Let me start off by admitting.. this week has been the first time I actually played Pirate. I used to hate the game with a burning passion, but had absolutely no idea why. This week however, something spoke to me. Not sure if it was Kane attempting to persuade me to join his villainous side or Merle Ambrose trying to give me the boot from his office by casting a hypnotic spell on me. Although, I could be wrong about either theory, and the truth could be that I just wanted to try something new.
So how was my experience you might ask? Eye-opening! Literally.. I had to open my eyes.
In all serious though, my initial experience was pretty fantastic. Looking back, it saddens me that I didn’t give Pirate a chance back in the olden days, but like they say, “better late than never.” So yes, I am officially a pirater, Yar!
Currently, my favorite things to do are stealing gold from crooked villains after being deemed victorious in an intense battleship war, questing with my companions who are always by my side, and even riding my pennyfarthing around Skull Island while getting awkward stares! What enthralled me the most about the game would have to be the companions. These little guys are what makes the difference in your battles. Companions are by your side in every battle you encounter, however there is a limit. You cannot bring all 103923029 of your companions in combat with you unfortunately.
Here are a few of my companions. My personal favorite would be Fan Flanders, she’s such a doll.
Moving along, even though I have not explored all of Pirate101’s potential, I did quickly pick up on some of the similarities Pirate101 has with Wizard101 besides the last three digits of their name. For instance, they share some of yours favorite worlds like Mooshu and Marylebone! In addition, Pirate101 also has a Player versus Player gamemode for competitive players. There’s also plenty of other activities for people to do such as farming for rare items, mini-games hosted by Mr. Harker in Skull Island, go on a scavenger hunt for items Prospector Zeke maybe in need of and much more! So if you’re worried about being bored, worry no more! Pirate101 has a plethora of things for you to do, such as saving the spiral a million and one times!
With similarities comes differences. A few key differences would be of course the combat. Unlike Wizard101, Pirate101 has a board game style combat. Rather than choosing a spell or card, Pirates choose where’d they like to go or which opponent they’d like to attack. The pictures might help explain what I mean by that.
Since I already told you guys I’m not very far in the storyline, I still have much to accomplish! The one thing I’m most looking forward to is defeating Kane, the Armada who’s potentially the cause of my parents’ disappearance… or was it the giant squid?

But wait! That’s not the only combat Pirate101 has! As I told you guys before, I can finally say that I’ve experienced my days of battleship combat! Here’s how that went.

Moving on, I wish others, who are like the old me, would actually give Pirate101 a chance. There’s no doubt in my mind that they will fall in love with it, like I did. Between the astonishing graphics and unique combat style, Pirate101 is one of a kind! I highly recommend you guys give it a try if you haven’t already, I guarantee you’ll love it!
To end off, I’d like to thank the AOTS Team for letting me share my first blog on their site!
Here’s a few beautiful pictures I took of the game. Hope you guys like them!
P.S ~ Can anyone guess where these pictures were taken? 🙂

I have read your article carefully and I agree with you very much. This has provided a great help for my thesis writing, and I will seriously improve it. However, I don’t know much about a certain place. Can you help me? https://www.gate.io/th/signup/XwNAU
