Saturday 16th April saw the second annual Fansite Festival come to an open, and to a close. This year’s Festival was longer due to the fact that we received far more applications for events this year, letting more events through, (it was also incredibly difficult to choose what events to accept) and we also invited three more hosts to join us and hope to invite many more in the coming years.
Paige MoonShade’s Dance Party started the event off with a huge bang, with more people attending than last year’s event and screenshots of you dancing won some people great prizes. Man0fBass’ twitch stream also allowed people who were not able to attend the events in game be there in spirit. Those lucky enough were not only able to take some prizes away from the streamer but also from Friendly Necromancer who snuck some codes into the comments.

NXP and Scrip farming also kicked off the Pirate101 events with hosts Autumn and Frostcaller taking to the skyways to show the Aquilans what they were made of.
Vanessa Mythdust hosted two events this year, her wildly popular bingo and a fun house party.
Stormgate Pirates and Legends of the Spiral held a gathering in Avery’s Court where a screenshot could land you the winner of some bountiful treasure.

Duelist 101 held a Spring PvP house party and Mercenaries101 held their spiral-wide Battle Royale which never fails to thrill. Petnome Pirates held a Pet Sparring contest and people showed off their pets for the whole of Bestia to see. Nordic Champion held a track meet in the commons and Johnny hid around the spiral.
